To Pimp A Buttlerfly has dropped a week early, one day after
the 20th anniversary of 2Pac’s Me Against the World LP. Last night (March 15), a clean version of the highly anticipated LP hit the web. The project was originally set to drop on March 23.  Although it seemed like Anthony 'Top Dawg' Tiffith was on board with an early release, the Top Dawg Entertainment CEO took to Twitter to express his frustration with Interscope for the album coming out a week early. Looks like someone's got some explaining to do.

Nearly two weeks ago, the Compton native tweeted a pre-order link for To Pimp A Butterfly, revealing the album's release date. Last Wednesday (March 11), Lamar dropped the cover art for the project via his Instagram account. Last Friday, the official tracklist for the LP leaked plus this past Saturday (March 14) "King Kunta" hit the web.
