UPDATE (Jan. 15):

It looks like Ye made it to the party. After going on Instagram Live and venting about not being able to attend his daughter Chicago's 4th birthday party, video has surfaced of the rapper in attendance. The short video clip shows Kanye talking to someone who appears to be Kris Jenner. Travis Scott also appears to be in attendance at the party, which was apparently a dual celebration for Chi, and Stormi—Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner's daughter.

Check out footage of the party below.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Kanye West appears to be at his wits' end concerning the current situation with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, after claiming he was not allowed to attend his daughter Chicago's birthday party.

Chicago, one of four kids Kanye shares with Kim K., turned 4 years old on Saturday (Jan. 15). On Saturday afternoon, Ye made a rare appearance on Instagram Live to vent, claiming he was not provided with the location of Chi's party.

"Wishing my daughter a public happy birthday," Kanye began. "I wasn't allowed to know where her party was. There's nothing legal. They're saying these are the kind of games that are being played. This the kind of thing that has really affected my health for the longest. I'm just not playing, I'm taking control of my narrative this year. I'm being the father, the best father, the Ye version of a father and I'm not finna let this happen. We gon' be in real time with this right here. Chicago, happy birthday. I love you. I'm just putting this online ’cause I need y'all support. I done called Kim, text the nannies. I got on the phone with Tristan, he asked Khloe. Won't nobody give me the address to my daughter's birthday party right now. That's gonna imprint in her mind that I wasn't there for her."

He continued, "I was supposed to be in Miami recording my album. My whole schedule is based around me being able to take my kids to school, me being there for them, making sure that I'm being in they lives. That's the whole point of having money. They take so many fathers just throughout America. They been taking the fathers out the homes purposely. So, I'm speaking up, I'm using my voice to say this ain't gon' keep happening. This narrative not finna happen. It's a lot of people that's in a position they ain't got no voice when people be playing games like this, baby mama's be playing games, the grandma be playing games like this. It's like, as y'all know, they ain't finna play like that with me."

Kanye is clearly having a hard time dealing with the circumstances surrounding his divorce from Kim Kardashian, who is currently dating SNL star Pete Davidson. The rap star even took a shot at Pete on his new song "Eazy."

During a recent interview with Hollywood Unlocked, Kanye claimed Kim's security stopped him from seeing their daughter North at school. "Security ain't gon' be between me and my children," Ye told the outlet.

Last month, it was reported that Kanye bought a house directly across the street from Kim's home in order to be closer to his children.
