"First of all, Chuck E. Cheese, they should be paying me to even say their name." Rumors fly, people talk, Kanye West calls Hot 97. That's exactly what happened today (June 11), when the Chicago superstar hopped on the phone with Nessa and Ebro to address whispers about the sex of his second child and a story about him kicking a group of kids out of the arcade-slash-animatronic band graveyard. He did that first, insisting that he's never set foot in a Chuck E. Cheese. West goes on to talk about the way he and other creative people are treated in the press and by the public. "When I walk up to people, they'll be like, 'Wow, you're nice!'" he says, frustrated that people "misinterpret [his] passion" for being "overly aggressive." Kanye also says he feels that "creatives are put in a position where they can't speak out loud." "I have the bravery to take the hit," he says of the constant hate with which he's faced.

"Right now, I really wanna take some time to focus on my album," Kanye said, saying that he might have been overexposed by his run of recent features. He says he's been holed up in the studio or with his wife and daughter, not at clubs or in public. He declined to comment on the sex of he and Kim Kardashian's second child, meaning that the reports from earlier this week saying the couple is expecting a son are likely untrue. Kim and Kanye's daughter, North, turns 2 next week.

Kanye spoke briefly about his next album SWISH. “[I’m working] on it slowly, to make it an art project [and] deliver the innovation that I know I can and that I’ve consistently done since 808s [& Heartbreak] and [My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy],” he said.
