This might be tough to digest. A few months back, Kanye declared it "Yeezy Season." Even though he proclaimed that his time was coming, we have yet to see anything album related since (well, until today). Now, fans may have a reason to fear a possible departure from Yeezy in the realm of music. According to Page Six, Kanye West might be walking away from his first love to pursue fashion full-time.

This shouldn't be surprising. Despite being a hip-hop aficionado, 'Ye has always been enamored with the idea of being a fashion icon. A source close to Page Six says "after his next [collaboration] with Paul McCartney comes out, he’s going to step away from music and concentrate on clothing." The source also explains that 'Ye's lack of time has resulted in his line being pushed back on multiple occasions. "His line has been pushed back four times because he hasn’t had enough time to work on it," the source adds.

Yeezy has been diligently working on trying to build a fashion empire. First, he switched over to Adidas for his newest sneaker collaboration. In addition, he worked with huge brands in the past like Nike and A.P.C., while also interning with Fendi. Despite having many detractors from the fashion industry, Ye is very headstrong about carving himself a lane in the ever so competitive field.

If Yeezy was to retire from music today, where would he stand among the greats?
