Kamaiyah Returns With Refreshing New Song “Hennessy on Ice”

Kamaiyah has kept busy in 2018, supplying fans with multiple tracks to hold them over through the winter. Now the 2017 XXL Freshman returns with the soothing new track "Hennessy on Ice." The Oakland native almost croons over the Juicy Beats production to deliver an ode to her drink of choice.

The 25-year-old owns the chorus, partly singing, "I've been sipping Hennessy all night/That's that remedy on ice/Please don't let my shit get warm/Keep my Hennessy on ice."

"Hennessy on Ice" finds Kamaiyah continuing her momentum straight into her debut album, which is expected to drop this year. Bookie T's melodic croon adds to the tuneful essence of the record, which boasts a throwback feel.

The Before I Wake artist kicked off 2018 by co-starring alongside LeBron James in a Sprite commercial, boasting her visibility into lanes she's never performed in before. As far as new music, Kamaiyah teased fans by previewing an epic collaboration wit TDE's own Schoolboy Q in January. The two can be seen enjoying each other's company in the studio in a clip of their session. She continued her hot streak into February, teaming up with Yhung T.O. of SOB x RBE for the Blakkat-produced "Seasons."
