Jim Jones hopes that Dipset will reunite for a new album. The Harlem rapper confirmed his desire for a reunion during an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. Jones downplayed his issues with Cam'ron, stating that he doesn't take social media seriously. The "We Fly High" MC said he wants The Diplomats to make another LP before it's too late.

"I would love to do a Diplomat album," Jones said about six minutes and 45 seconds into the video. "Above all the bullshit, that's just me thinking about what I would like to happen. A lot of fans want that. Let's just hope that, by the grace of God, we might could get it done before our time of being still cool is over."

Jones' dismissal of his beef with Cam'ron echos some comments that Killa Cam made earlier this year. Cam said he was still cool with Jones despite trading shots on social media.

“Jim’s issues with me or whatever… I know Jim’s moms and kids, his son rather, and his sisters,” Cam told This Is 50. “As hard as I would go against somebody else, I wouldn’t go hard on Jim like that. That’s still my man regardless of what people see in the public or media or whatever.”

The Diplomats briefly reunited in 2015 for a tour, which sparked talk of a new project. Nothing ever came of it, and the chances of a new Dipset album looked bleak when Jones and Cam'ron's beef resurfaced.
