Following day one performances from The Weeknd, Trippie Redd and Kendrick Lamar, among others, the second day of the 2018 Coachella Music and Arts Festival is a wrap, and included some of the biggest names in hip-hop showcasing their talents onstage in the California desert.

Coachella's Saturday lineup (April 15) saw the likes of billed performers like Post Malone, Brockhampton, Flatbush Zombies, and many more, but also included surprise appearances by chart-topping artists like 21 Savage, Ty Dolla $ign and, of course, Jay-Z alongside his wife Beyoncé, the night's headliner.

Day one performances featured Trippie Redd joining SZA for a surprise set that included "Dark Knight Gummo," Kendrick Lamar performing not one, but two times with both SZA and Vince Staples, Belly hitting the stage, Rich The Kid performing "Plug Walk" and The Weeknd closing out the day as headliner with an emotional set.

Check out the highlights from the shows XXL got the chance to see during day two of 2018 Coachella and peep some videos below.

  • Jay-Z Performs "Deja Vu" With Beyonce

During Beyoncé's closing set, her hubby came onstage with her to perform their 2009 smash hit "Deja Vu." Beyoncé didn't stop there with special guest; she also reunited with Destiny's Child—Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams—to perform a few of their classic jams like "Say My Name," "Baby Boy."

Her sister Solange also showed out for a quick choreographed dance routine that had the audience screaming at the highest decibel.

Bey even gave some love to West Coast rapper O.T. Genasis while performing a mesmerizing dance routine to his 2017 track "Everybody Mad."

It was definitely an important time for Jay-Z to be by Beyonce's set, as she just became the first Black woman ever to headline Coachella.

  • Post Malone Brings Out 21 Savage and Ty Dolla Sign

Post Malone was undoubtedly one of the most popular shows of day two at Coachella, with crowds spilling out of the show area to catch him hit the stage. Opening with his hit "Too Young," he later decided to bring out some friends who have helped him earn some critical acclaim over the last year. 21 Savage came out to perform "Rockstar," and Ty Dolla $ign later appeared to join Posty for their collab track "Psycho."

  • Brockhampton Enter Stage to Sound of Violinists

Coming out to the tune of violinists, eclectic rap group Brockhampton put on a predictably creative, high-energy show on Saturday afternoon. Performing several of their fan favorites like "Sunny" and "Sister/Nation," the group had the crowd rocking.

According to group member Kevin Abstract, their were technical difficulties behind the scenes that prevented Brockhampton from putting on the show they planned.

"I’m very sad about our performance," Kevin tweeted Sunday (April 15). "We didnt start on time because somehow bearface’s mic quit working seconds before we went on stage.. while we were trying to fix the issue every minute backstage felt like an hour and I’m sorry if you came out and waited."

"I’m really sad because this was a moment me and my friends put so much time and emotion into," he continued. "We were all extremely emotionally invested. I’m sorry I let y’all down. It felt like a nightmare."

Given their recent deal with RCA Records and their forthcoming album, Puppy, seeing more Coachella performances from Brockhampton in the future is inevitable.

  • Flatbush Zombies Bring the Energy

There's never a dull moment with the Flatbush Zombies, and certainly not during their Coachella performance on Saturday night. The group, comprised of Zombie Juice, Meechy Darko and Erick The Architect had the crowd jumping along with them for the entirety of their high-energy set.

The Brooklyn-born rappers performed a number of fan favorites like "Bounce," from their 2016 album, 3001: A Laced Odyssey, during their second appearance at Coachella, including a fair amount of tracks from their new album, Vacation in Hell.
