Brockhampton’s Deal With RCA Records May Be Worth More Than $15 Million

Brockhampton stay winning. The group announced on Friday, March 30 that they signed with RCA Records, a major move, and it's now being reported that their contract is worth more than $15 million.

According to Billboard, multiple industry sources have confirmed that the deal racks up to $15 million for six albums over the course of three years. Good news for Brockhampton fans, seeing as they'll be putting out a lot of new music in the future. The deal also reportedly covers all the members in the group, which was fluctuated from six to 15 artists over time. XXL has reached out to RCA Records for a comment.

One of the aforementioned albums will likely be Puppy, which Brockhampton announced recently that they plan to drop this summer. One of the group's more vocal members on social media, Kevin Abstract, announced the album on March 20.

"PUPPY IS THE ALBUM NAME YES THE GREATEST BOYBAND IN THE WORLD IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON 'PUPPY,'" he wrote.

Kevin, who help launched the group was also the one to announce their signing to RCA via Instagram, and assured fans that their decison to partner with a label would not change their signature sound and eccentric style. "I wanted to be very clear about this and let y’all know that nothin changes. videos still diy, music still made in our house, and we’re still gonna make the best possible product for y’all," he said.

It's safe to say that big things are ahead for Brockhampton, who recently took to Times Square for a TRL performance, and are slated to perform at Coachella this month.
