Jay Z was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (Oct. 20). The show is on it's second night of its week-long trip in Brooklyn. During the sit-down interview Hov and Kimmel discuss why Tidal is better than its competitors. When asked by Kimmel how Tidal is different from other streaming services, Jay simply said "It's better." He continued: "It's better sounds, it's better everything. They want people to believe that you don't care about sound or quality. They want you to believe that."

Jimmy Kimmel and Jay also talk about the progression of how consumers listen to music Beyoncé's pizza preferences, the winner of his high school rap battle with Busta Rhymes, his first TV appearance and a lot more. Later on the Brooklyn native performed "Empire State of Mind" before giving the entire audience at Jimmy Kimmel Live! free tickets to the streaming platform's sponsored 10/20 concert. Jay and Jimmy Kimmel personally walked the audience over to the Barclays Center. Usher and Nas performed their new hit titled “Chains,” a song that addresses racial injustice and police brutality and was released last week through Tidal. Watch everything below.
