J. Cole ft. Trey Songz “Can’t Get Enough” Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011)
loading...

It's been quite some time since Kendrick Lamar shook up hip-hop with his name-dropping verse on Big Sean's "Control." One of the names he dropped was that of North Carolina spitter J. Cole, who has now responded with a verse of his own.

Cole, along with Pusha T and A$AP Rocky, is featured on the remix of Justin Timberlake's "TKO." On his verse, he talks about "Control" and how everyone—even his mama—wondered how he would react to it. Despite mentioning the track, Cole never really take shots at Kendrick and instead seems to be talking to a female on the verse.
