It's been a minute since we've gotten new music from rising Milwaukee rapper IshDARR, but he's back with a melodic new record called "Inside." The new song from the Midwest artist provides some feel-good vibes for the upcoming warmer seasons as he lays down vocals and rhymes over the dulcet instrumental.

IshDARR starts off the Canis Major-produced track with a somber hook, where he lets someone close to him know that they shouldn't get too comfortable.

"I like to know that you're a real one deep inside," he sings. "Don't be too friendly or you might get left behind/I like to know that every angle you gon' climb/Don't think it's over, now you'll never cross that line."

Canis Major also produced previous songs for the rapper earlier this year, including "They Lost Me 2" and "Fangs."

IshDARR spoke with XXL about the inspiration behind the new record, which he says comes from wanting to find true happiness within himself and those around him.

"The inspiration of this song roots deep," he says. "Mainly to be happy by all means and making sure everyone around you is as well. Patience and knowledge are two main things that get lost when finding what makes you truly happy sometimes. To stay alert, and never scared to face a dream you have and are passionate about."

The Wisconsin native also shares what he will be up to in 2018, which includes his debut mixtape, Old Soul, Young Spirit, being released on all streaming platforms.

"2018 will be busy," he admits. "I plan on releasing more music for my day ones. For starters, today my debut mixtape, which was released last year with my Empire fam and gained national buzz, Old Soul, Young Spirit, will be released on all streaming platforms, as well as this single. Album coming end of summer and debut feature film releasing in the fall."

Just two years ago, IshDARR released his Broken Hearts and Bankrolls project, which featured 12 new tracks and marked as his second full-length project.
