You know that friend who posts monologues of their lives on Instagram? The long, extended paragraphs that you automatically scroll past? Well, we've found the hip-hop equivalent.

Hip-hop vet Irv Gotti has been getting rather emotional on Instagram lately. From stellar movie reviews, to birthday shout-outs, the Queens-hailing record producer doesn't confine his creativity to any caption limits on the social network. A few clicks around Gotti's profile will show his glowing endorsements for new artists, TV shows and albums. It's obvious the Murder Inc Record Label founder with a discography of production credits with DMX, Jay Z, Ja Rule and more has no filter.

We're all for passion, but in this age of shortened attention spans, we're betting most people will scroll right past his heartfelt words. Too bad, because Gotti is dropping gems. He should probably even start his own blog. Look at some of Gotti's best captioned pics in the last few months if you have time for some extended wisdom.

So I for sure WANNA see this story. It's funny because it's a HIP HOP CULTURES STORY. But really it's an AMERICAN STORY!! Cause Hip Hop has brought everyone together. I know it's not Thursday. But I seen this pic of me. @ruleyorkcity and then COO of the Universal Music Group Zach Horowitz. He is the one guy in the UMG System that I actually really really liked genuinely. Through all my years. Good and bad. He always checked on me to see if I was good. Til this day I call him a good friend of mine. Had lunch with him a few months ago. And although we did business and sometimes argued and shit. He always stayed real with me with what he could and could not do for me. And he always was a friend to me. I know he doesn't have Instagram. But if anyone who might be around him does. For the record: I absolutely LOVE these images, they are from the shoot I directed for my Steve Madden campaign. Im incredibly proud of the shoes we've made together, as well as these images that I've been anxiously waiting to share with you all. What I had a "rant" about on Twitter isn't in regards to these pictures, it was about another, different set of images i wasn't a part of creating that I felt weren't reflective of my vision and direction for the collection. I'm an artist and I'm extremely passionate and emotional and crazy sometimes because I care ALOoOoot about this shit! I love Steve and he gets it! Artists clash sometimes, it doesn't mean I dislike the brand. I love Steve Madden as an individual and as a company. I have 3 more seasons I'm making with these guys and I'm going to enjoy it. Shit just happens sometimes and you gotta fight for what you believe in! I believe in this collection immensely; that's why I just wanted it to be perfect. it comes out tomorrow and I hope you guys enjoy it because I put my heart and soul into them! Sorry for the drama! I didn't mean for it to turn into some big blog situation (as usual) but I'm not gonna sit back and totally let Steve Madden get dragged under the bus because as a whole they're awesome ppl.
