Ice T made a pretty awesome appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night and the results were hilarious. First, the rapper/actor sounded off on some of the top headlines in news and entertainment as Fallon reeled them off. Ice T commented on 50 Shades Of Grey ("One shade of black is all you need"), the weather ("Black people don't like the winter, man") and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie ("People always come up to me and say, 'Ice why don't you get into politics?' And I say, 'I already got out of crime.'")

Fallon and Ice also had fun re-creating classic cartoons like The Adventures of Scooby-Doo, Dora The Explorer and G.I. Joe. In each clip, the rapper adds his own voiceover to each that show's the flair and vulgarity that has made Ice T popular for decades now. Check both clips out above.

Ice T continues to be an active member of the hip-hop community and released the excellent documentary, Art Of Rap, back in 2012. During a Reddit Ask Me Anything session, Ice T, who was a forefather of gangsta rap, gave his take on this generation's crop of gangsta rappers:

With the sudden influx of “Gangsta” Rap albums (Cocaine Pinata, Oxymoron, Shyne ColdChain Vol. 2, My Krazy Life, Animal Ambition), do you think that we could see a new popularity for gangsta rap and maybe have it’s own popular subgenre?
It’s great but will never have the shock value of NWA.
