Gucci Mane and Ralo Are Dropping a Collab Project
It's been less than a month since Gucci Mane dropped his last project (Drop Top Wop, with Metro Boomin), but the Atlanta MC is already preparing to unleash another one. Today (June 8), Guwop used his Twitter account to announce a new joint project with Ralo. It appears the project will be called, Ralo Laflare.
In the tweet, Guwop wrote, "#RaloLaflare dropping 7/7/17," Guwop wrote in the tweet, which was attached with an image of what appears to be the cover for the project and a July 7 release date. Dope.
Like Guwop, Ralo hails from Atlanta. Gucci's been a staple of the city's rap scene since at least the mid-2000s, while the 22-year-old Ralo—who dropped his impressive Famerican Gangster II project back in February—is an artist on the come-up. He's also signed to Gucci through Alamo Records.
With a knack for melody and grim street oriented bars, Ralo is a guy who's poised to make a ton of noise going forward. Fresh off landing his first ever platinum plaque for his own single, Gucci's someone who's now making significant waves in the mainstream, and is only getting bigger.
With all of that being in mind, a Gucci and Ralo collab project should be a perfect combination of two artist coming into new levels of success with their dynamic talent. We can't wait.
