Diamonds are forever. Not for Gucci Mane, though. A jewelry company sued Gucci for $270,000 in unpaid loaned diamonds and won.

According to TMZ, A&A Diamonds in Georgia filed a lawsuit against Gucci earlier this year, claiming it loaned the rapper a $130,000 iced-out pinky ring and $110,000 more for a diamond chain and bracelet.

The celebrity news site says that according to the lawsuit, Gucci had 15 days to pay for the jewelry or return the items. He did neither, keeping them and only paying the store $40,000.

A&A won its lawsuit for $274,523.34, which included the jewelry costs, interest and attorney fees, after Gucci pulled a no-show at court last month. A lien, which the Brick Squad rapper hasn’t answered, has been placed on his property.

In related Gucci news, the Atlanta rapper recently dropped his new mixtape, I’m Up, which features the star-studded likes of Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Fabolous, T.I. and Scarface. Ironically Scarface appears on a track named, “Scarface,” which has Gucci revisiting the tattoo on his face via rhyme.

Previously, producer Mike Will talked to XXLMag.com about crafting Gucci’s “Plain Jane,” which features Tip and Rocko.

“That shit is crazy,” the Atlanta producer said. “It’s fire. That song is definitely one of the hotter songs in the A. Once it’s a hot song in the A, it’s out of here as far as getting out to New York and out west. Gucci, he has the streets on lock, period. He’s never going any where.”
