G Herbo Welcomes a Baby Boy

Fresh off the success of his "Who Run It (Freestyle)," G Herbo has plenty more to be happy about following the birth of his son, Yosohn Santana Wright.

The Chicago rapper celebrated the baby boy's arrival on Instagram last night (April 11), posting a clip from Paid in Full and writing, "ITS LITTT FR DOE!!! I CANT EVEN EXPLAIN THE FEELING 8Lbs14Oz 21 Inches @nba WATCH OUT LOL."

Herbo's fiancée, Ariana Fletcher, also confirmed the birth of the child, posting a picture of the baby's full head of hair on Twitter and adding a simple blue heart emoji. As for the child's name, G Herbo made sure to correct everyone on the pronunciation during an Instagram Story. "Sound it out. Yo-sohn! You know how to spell John?" the rapper said. "J-o-h-n. So, y-o-s-o-h-n is Yosohn!"

In February, Herbo was forced to missed his fiancée's baby shower after running into a bit of trouble with the law. The Humble Beast artist was arrested on Feb. 22 after he and two other men were caught with loaded guns during a traffic stop in Chicago. While Herbo was let out on $25,000 bail, he wasn't home in time for Ariana's shower.

Ariana joked about the "Done for Me" rapper's absence, posting a Photoshopped image of him at the shower on Instagram. "Who said my man wasn’t at our shower 😭 Who made this?" she captioned.
