Despite its not-so-stellar track record with artists over the years, being a rapper under the Bad Boy umbrella definitely has its perks. Like a $1 million year-end bonus that Diddy gives out. This year, French Montana got his M from Money Makin' Mitch, but instead of pocketing the sizable chunk of bread he reportedly plans to give it all to charity.

The "Moses" rapper was presented the money during a small gathering. French posted a photo to Instagram after receiving his over-sized check from Puff, captioning the pic, "Shout out to @iamdiddy for that million dollar gift bonus."

According to TMZ, Montana is pledging to give the cheese to "a charity in the south Bronx he just started to help schools and young kids." Now that's what we call giving back.

French signed a deal with Diddy's storied label back in 2012 after his smash "Shot Caller" started bubbling in the streets. In his time on Bad Boy, the Moroccan-born MC has only dropped one album, 2013's Excuse My French which was powered by the hit single "Pop That." The Coke Boy rapper's second LP Mac & Cheese: The Album has suffered from a number of setbacks but is now set to drop some time in 2016. It is spearheaded by the single "Moses" featuring Chris Brown and Migos.

Shout out to French Montana for the pending good deed.
