French Montana dropped by the Hot 97 studios for an interview with the Ebro in the Morning crew and spoke on a wide-ranging number of topics from his upcoming album to Bruce Jenner. French spoke publicly for the first time on the tragic death of his friend and collaborator Chinx Drugz. "I never made one dollar off of Chinx Drugz as an artist," said an obviously distraught Montana. "All I did for Chinx was help him out because I wanted to see my brother become as big as he can. I feel like at his peak this happened to him, that's what I'm most hurt about. I want people to see how much they love him...That was my brother and throughout the whole time I felt like he was trying so hard and right when he caught his break, that happened."

Montana has been engaged in a social media battle with 50 Cent over their respective choice of vodka, Effen and Ciroc. Ebro asked French about the battle to which the Bronx native responded, ""Did you ever see someone in the club with an Effen Vodka bottle? 50 is a marketing genius, these are the things he do. He took what he did to sell music to sell vodka. It's all love." French was then asked if he would collab in the future with the G-Unit leader and after stuttering for a bit he responded, "He moved on to be a business man and I respect that. I don't think he's focused on music."

The entertaining interview also touched on his relationship with Khloe Kardashian, an update on Max B and his upcoming album which will feature production from Young Chop, Harry Fraud and Velous. Check it above.
