Fetty Wap Drops “Pull Up Wit Ah Stick” and “XO Tour Llif3″ Freestyles
Fetty Wap's 2015 debut album made him a star. And though it's been less than 24 months since the project dropped, it feels like the followup has been a long time coming.
The New Jersey rap/crooner has been in the studio cooking up, and delivers two new freestyles, remixing SahBabii’s street hit “Pull Up Wit Ah Stick” and Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Llif3.”
XXL chopped it up with the "Trap Queen" rapper in January, and he talked about the hold up with his sophomore LP. “The reason for the delay is me. It wasn’t nobody else,” he said. “It wasn’t a conflict between me and 300 [Entertainment]. It wasn’t a conflict between me and RGF [Productions]. It was no conflict at all. It was just me not being satisfied, you know what I mean? I feel like my first album was good because peoples was ok with the songs I had out. Now it’s more like, what songs can you make, you feel me?”
Fetty is hard at work on the project, which he recently revealed will feature an appearance from Jhene Aiko. “I sent her a song and made it specifically for her to feature on,” he told Billboard. “When she heard the song, she was like, ‘The song is fire. It’s hot. We gon’ rock with it.’ She did it. She took her time on it. She did what she did and it’s fire. I’m just excited because it’s my first time working with big artists.”
