Fabolous Shoots Down Emily B Breakup Rumors

Rumors of Fabolous and Emily B's relationship demise have been greatly exaggerated, according to the Brooklyn rapper.

On Thursday (July 25), TMZ reported Loso and the mother of his children had called it quits after he was spotted out at lunch with another woman. Fab is claiming that speculation is totally false. On Friday (July 26), The Young OG hopped on Instagram to clarify the situation.

"I never said I split up from Emily. I love Emily Bustamante," he wrote in one post. "We are a couple working on our relationship. That TMZ story and blogs are lies."

He also denied stepping out with another woman, as the story insinuated, and said he might take legal action against the celebrity news site.

"TMZ posted a lunch meeting I had with a female teacher and said I was on a date and added a bogus story that I cut off or split from Emily," he wrote in a follow-up post. "This is [defamation] of character. I'm going to reach out to my lawyer to take action. This is baseless and affecting my likeness, my character and my family."

Fab and Emily have had serious issues in the past. In March 2018, he was charged with assaulting Bustamante during an altercation. In March 2019, he struck a plea deal with prosecutors in the domestic violence case and avoided jail time.

While the two had seemingly worked things out and stayed together, the celebrity news site's report claimed that wasn't the case. A follow-up report the site posted Friday morning claims that sources close to Emily say Fabolous is in denial and that they haven't been an item in over a year.
