Fabolous made headlines after an arrest for assaulting his longtime girlfriend Emily B. back in March, but the couple's relationship looks to be mended since she appeared alongside the rapper in Bergen County Superior Court on Thursday (May 10).

According to Bossip, the couple were in court for the first disposition hearing in his domestic violence case. The Brooklyn rapper, born John Jackson, stands accused of aggravated assault and making a terrorist threat against the mother of his two sons. Should Fabolous be convicted, the two charges could net him up to 10 years in prison.

Fabolous arrived at the hearing with Emily B., also known as Emily Bustamante, and the pair sat next to each other in the courtroom before leaving together. Bustamante recently asked the courts to dismiss a separate domestic violence charge, as well as a restraining order, against the “Make Me Better” rapper, Fab’s lawyer told Bossip.

On March 28, Fabolous turned himself in to police in Englewood, N.J. after Bustamante called the cops and reported that Fabolous assaulted her. Fab punched Bustamante in the face seven times, causing her to lose her two front teeth, according to court documents obtained by NorthJersey.com.

The alleged altercation happened sometime after a separate incident that took place on March 7. While traveling home from Los Angeles, Fabolous told Bustamante in a series of text messages that he wanted to beat her to death with a baseball bat. Authorities believe Fabolous became enraged after noticing on Instagram that Bustamante was visiting Los Angeles without him knowing.

After receiving the texts, Bustamante called her father and brother and asked them to visit her home in New Jersey, in order to remove two handguns that she feared Fabolous might use to harm her. When Fabolous returned to the house, he got into an altercation with Bustamante’s father, at one point threatening to shoot him, as seen in (disturbing) footage obtained by TMZ.
