The Shady Music Publishing roster just got a little bit bigger with the addition of Astray, a Saginaw, Michigan rapper who was once an intern at Eminem's recording studio according to reports from MLive. Astray made the announcement via his Twitter and Facebook accounts and was later congratulated by Paul Rosenberg on social media.

The MC also cleared things up by clarifying that he is signed to Shady Music Publishing and Universal Music Group not Shady Records. Eminem's publicist Dennis Dennehy told MLive that the deal means "they are going to work with him on songs."


The Michigan native released his first album as a teenager back in the late '90s. In 2004 his third album, Who's Coming With Me, charted at No. 5 on Billboard's regional Heatseekers chart. Check out more of his music via his YouTube page.
