Ed Sheeran took Jay Z and Beyoncé out for drinks Sunday night (May 31) following his performance at Barclays Center (May 31). During his interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Sheeran says he mentioned a dive bar nearby and they all went to it. According to Vulture, the "Thinking Out Loud" singer took hip-hop's first couple to Houndstooth Pub, his go-to spot in the city after a show. Once they hit the spot, Sheeran tells Fallon folk music was playing and they were jamming. Sheeran and his supporting act Foy Vance played an acoustic set full of covers, including "Empire State of Mind," and had a chill night with Hov and Bey. Unfortunately, there's no video coverage from the jam session.

He also released acoustic version of himself performing Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" with The Roots while backstage. Check out Sheeran talking about the totally cool moment above and his cover of "Trap Queen" below.

In other news, Hiv just released his first playlist on Tidal. The 19-track playlist contains tracks from A$AP Rocky’s new album At.Long.Last.A$AP as well as records from Kehlani, Post Malone, Fetty Wap and Vince Staples plus Drake’s “Know Yourself,” Future’s “F–k Up Some Commas,” Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé’s “Feeling Myself” and many more. Hov’s playlist is titled “F–k the Summer Up.”

There was a brief scare that Beyoncé's music would be pulled off of Tidal by Sony Music, but that rumor was proven to be false. Sony Music CEO Doug Morris addressed the matter and denied any plans to snag Queen B’s music from her husband’s newly acquired business venture.
