Time to add another achievement to Bay Area legend E-40's illustrious career. The 2015 hit single "Choices" becomes 40 Water's latest song to attain gold record status by the RIAA.

If you're unfamiliar with the Poly Boy-produced banger, it's in your best interest to peep the "Choices" music video, which has surpassed 10 million views thanks to more than 100 cameos from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Nicki Minaj, Cedric The Entertainer and more. Also, be sure to check out the "Choices" Remix, which served as an anthem to the Golden State Warriors' 2015 NBA Championship run. Speaking of the Dubs, 40 Water currently stars in a Beats By Dre commercial alongside All-Star Draymond Green.

E-40 big-ups himself in a press release about "Choices" going gold.

"What's happening at this point in my career defies logic. Name another 48-year-old rapper with one gold record, let alone three in the same year," he says. "My fans stretch much further than the Bay Area, further than just the West Coast. I brought so much shit to hip-hop. I’ve been relevant in each generation and each decade and I've done it as an independent artist."
