Drake Teases Three Unreleased Air Jordan Retro Sneakers
By now, fans of Drake who follow the hip-hop superstar on Instagram, know the Toronto native often teases video clips of unreleased Jordan Brand kicks on the popular social media app. Last night was no different, as the More Life rapper previewed three unreleased Air Jordan Retro kicks in the late hours of Thursday night.
Posting a short video clip of three exclusive Jordan kicks—Air Jordan 4 Multi-Color, Air Jordan 8 Kentucky Blue Midnight Madness PE and Air Jordan 8 Oakley Raptors PE—the Canadian rap star gave his followers a close look at all three kicks while writing in his caption the exact names of each shoe. The never-before-seen pair of Air Jordan 4s features a black suede upper with a multi color heel and midsole. The Air Jordan 8 pays tribute to Drake's favorite college basketball team, the Kentucky Wildcats, and features a black upper with the Kentucky logo on the mid-foot of the shoes tongue. To round Drake's unreleased kicks, Air Jordan 8 pays tribute to former Toronto Raptor and New York Knick, Charles Oakley, and features a white leather upper with gold accents.
Known as a true Jordan head, Drizzy signed with Jordan Brand in December of 2013 and has become one of the most influential sneaker figures in the game. Teasing unreleased kicks on the ‘Gram from time to time, the “One Dance” rapper has given his followers a look at the perks of being a big time rapper in the game.
It remains unclear whether or not the Air Jordan 4 or both the Air Jordan 8s will ever release, but keep it locked with XXL to find out if these kicks release to the masses.
