Several rappers took to their respective Twitter accounts last night (June 21) to salute and congratulate LeBron James and the Miami Heat for winning the NBA Championship.

Merely tweeting out 140 characters or less wasn’t enough for DJ Khaled, however.

The Cash Money member and hip-hop showman dedicated an entire video to congratulating the Miami Heat. With rock band, Queen’s classic, “We Are the Champions” playing in the background, Khaled begins paying homage and celebrating the Heat for defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder and clinching the NBA title, giving King James his very first ring.

“Miami-Dade County, 305, LeBron James, D. Wade, [Chris] Bosh, Udonis Haslem, the whole team…you see what’s going on, right?” said Khaled, pointing to the Heat celebrating their championship victory on a television in his studio. “You see what’s going on!”

Rappers ranging from Big Boi to Bun B to Game, Ace Hood, Busta Rhymes, Waka Flocka Flame, Lupe Fiasco and Noreaga all tweeted about Heat winning, but none took the time to also tie-in and promote his own product like Khaled did.

“I want to thank everybody for making ‘Take It To The Head’ a Top 5 record in the country right now,” exclaimed Khaled as part of his Heat tribute video. “You see what I’m doing, right? Last year, we were talking about ‘I’m On One’ the year before we were talking about ‘All I Do Is Win.’

“Should I keep going? ‘I’m So Hood,’ ‘We Taking Over,’ 'Go Hard,' 'Holla At Me, Baby,' 'Out Here Grindin.' I keep going," he added. "I got catalog. Miami Heat got the ring, so I’m super inspired to drop a record off my Kiss The Ring album, dropping August 21st. Safe to say, stay tuned to who’s on the record, when I’m gonna drop the record, another hit, another smash, I don’t play no games, I got catalog!"
