After a successful concert in Atlantic City on July 3 where he brought out Rick Ross, Fabolous and Fat Joe, Diddy’s next Independence Day bash was shut down due to overcrowding.

According to The Washington Post, Puff’s party at The Pool, a nightclub atop Harrah’s Resort which was set to go down late night on Sunday (July 4), was halted for security reasons. Shortly after midnight, nearly 500 guests attempted to eschew the line and force their way inside, which was when security decided it was time to step in. Both Busta Rhymes and Floyd Mayweather were set to appear at the event.

This was likely nothing new to the rap mogul, who has been throwing parties for years, ever since his days at Howard University. He spoke on those memories, his time as at Howard University, comparing Rick Ross to Biggie and more at last night’s Noisemakers with Peter Rosenberg.
