So it looks like a new rap beef is at our doorstep, and this one is between two New York City rhymers. On Tuesday (July 3), Bronx's own Tray Pizzy dropped off a new tune by the name of "Retribution," a scathing diss track aimed Harlem's Dave East.

On his new diss track, which checks in at about three minutes in total, Pizzy accuses East of firing off subliminal shots while also dismissing the rapper's street credibility. "I could tell you ain't from Harlem, they don't drip like that/ I know some real Harlem niggas, they don't Crip like that," he raps on the tune.

When Pizzy isn't coming at East's street cred, he's also making it a point to say East doesn't share his wealth with his friends. "'Cause you sitting 'round niggas and you the only one shining/And they the ones holding the grips and know you lying," he spits.

If you listen to Dave East's rhymes, you know he isn't the type to back down from a lyrical scuffle—and he didn't. Earlier today (July 6), East responded to "Retribution" with "I'm Good Cuz, Enjoy [Detox]," an equally biting diss that finds the Harlem lyricist coming at Pizzy's entire life. At six minutes, East's response is twice the length of Pizzy's.

"Damn homie, couple years ago it looked like you would be the man homie/What the fuck happened to you/Your aura just don't attract bread, you one gram away from being a crackhead," he raps on the track. He also calls out Japan, who is one of Pizzy's frequent collaborators before making fun of Pizzy for allegedly not being able to secure a feature from his fellow Bronx rapper, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

It's unclear when exactly Pizzy and East's beef actually began, but it's clear they aren't on good terms anymore. In 2015, Pizzy appeared on East's Hate Me Now cut, "All I Know."
