While his fans are embracing his new Paranoia 2 project, Dave East isn't quite finished with the rollout of his previously released Paranoia: A True Story EP. The East Harlem rapper drops a 10-minute short film for the track "The Hated" featuring Nas.

In the visual, Dave plays the role of a New York drug dealer. The Kid Art-directed film features Dave and one of his boys dealing with some heavy legal woes as the streets erupt in some serious drama. We see a tale play out that follows the themes of betrayal, loyalty and turmoil. Unfortunately, Nas does not appear in the video, despite being featured on the original record.

The "Type of Time" MC and his partner take part in a street feud before getting tied up at the hands of police, who interrogate them about their drug dealings. One of the drug dealers, whose name is Cory, is later killed after his chain gets snatched from him.

Dave just dropped off his Paranoia 2 mixtape earlier this week to kick off the new year. The effort has features from Tory Lanez, T.I., Lloyd Banks, Bino Rideaux, Marsha Ambrosious and Matt Patterson and contains a total of 15 tracks.
