Chris Rock’s ‘Top Five’ Soundtrack Features Jay Z, Kanye West, DMX, And More
As the premiere of Chris Rock's forthcoming film, Top Five, gears up for its theater debut on Dec. 12, Def Jam has decided to prepare fans for the impressive musical lineup they've put together to make the soundtrack complete. Expected for release three days (Dec. 9) before the movie hits the big screen, the soundtrack is filled with nothing but big name artists including Jay Z, Kanye West, DMX, Rakim, LL Cool J, The Roots, Jadakiss, and more.
Veteran comedic actor Chris Rock wrote, directed and stars in the film. Top Five was co-produced by Jay Z and Kanye West, while Questlove acted as the film's executive music producer and co-composer.
