Chris Brown Says He Does Not Mess With Drake
Chris Brown and Tyga stopped by Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning to promote their collaborative LP Fan of a Fan: The Album. During the interview, the two artists—who have been close friends for quite some time now—dished on the Kylie Jenner rumors, the Grammy Awards, more. One thing discussed was Drake and whether or not Chris Brown has issues with him.
"We making him hot by talking about [him]," said Breezy as he tried to change the subject. Chris wouldn't clarify whether or not he's beefing with Drizzy. “I’m not taking [Tyga’s] side, but I don’t mess with dude,” Chris Brown tells Ebro about Drake. He added: “I’m on probation. That’s all I’m a say.”
Last December Brown called out Karrueche Tran in a Instagram post, claiming she was going on dates with Drake while he was in prison. he later apologized. Last July it appeared Drake and Brown finally deaded their longstanding beef when they were spotted in the studio together. Hip-hop producer Mally Mall said it was him who helped the Drake and Breezy bury the hatchet and brought the two artists together in the studio. But it looks like the peace between the two superstars was short-lived. Brown took another jab at Drake in his interview on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club. . "There’s nowhere else to go. Who else in this game is Rihanna gonna go to? Some corny singing rapper?! Who hotter than me," said Breezy during the interview (watch here).
Ebro asked Tyga about his rumored relationship with Kylie Jenner.
"She's just a good person and I love being around her," said the "Ayo" MC. "It's my decision to continue to be around her and have her involved in my life. I don't think it's the world's decision to dictate that." Once again, Tyga is telling the world that his relationship with 17-year-old Kylie isn't anyone's business.
The conversation then shifted to the Grammy Awards and its voting process. "I just feel like the Grammys is f*cking bullsh*t," said Breezy, as he explained his dismay with the awards ceremony. Chris Brown has been in the music game for 10 years now and he has only taken home one Grammy. "You have these people that don't know music. My issue is people not going off of how these billboards work and how this music works," Chris explained. "If you not White, you don't really win," he added.
The pair also talked about the Between the Sheets tour getting pushed back, Chris Brown's legal drama and Cash Money issues in the interview. Check out the full clip above. Their LP drops tomorrow.
