Chris Brown Blasts President Trump Over Comments About How Cops Should Handle “Thugs” During Arrests
President Trump's rhetoric has Chris Brown pissed.
The 45th Commander In Chief recently spoke in front on New York law enforcement officers when, in typical Trump fashion, he went over the top when urging congress to provide more funding for local police and border patrol.
While trying to make his point, Trump threw in this gem. “When you see these thugs thrown into the back of a paddy wagon. You see them thrown in, rough. I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice,'” he told the crowd. “Like when you guys put those guys in the car and you are protecting their head. The way you put their hand. Like don't hit their head and they just killed somebody. I said, 'you can take the hand away, okay,” he added, which drew a huge applause from the crowd.
Breezy caught wind of the speech and wasn't down with the president basically giving police officers the authority to play judge and jury, and rough up people who are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. "WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?????!," CB wrote on Instagram. "HE GIVING POLICE MORE RIGHT TO FUCK UP YOUNG BLACK MEN!! SHIT IS CRAZZY!!! this is not how u make peace or any kind of help. Please wake up people!"
While all the officers in the video seemed to be clapping and smiling in agreement, New York City Police Department Commissioner James P. O’Neill released a statement on Saturday (July 29) shunning the president's speech. “To suggest that police officers apply any standard in the use of force other than what is reasonable and necessary is irresponsible, unprofessional and sends the wrong message to law enforcement as well as the public,” he said.
Chris Brown recently made the news as it was reported that he is suing a Philippines promoter over an alleged extortion plot.
