Cassidy Takes Shots at Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert at Ruff Ryders Reunion Show

Last night's Ruff Ryders reunion show featured Cassidy taking shots at Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert.

During the show, the Philly rapper got a chance to spit a little freestyle, which contained bars on his feelings on the current state of the rap game, and some swipes at the 2016 XXL Freshmen. "Who the best MCs me, J. Cole or Kendrick?/I miss the days when Jay took over the business/I witnessed Hova change the world Ima Jehovah's Witness/I never chose to listen to Yachty and Lil Uzi/Let's take it back to Jeezy, Weezy and Boosie/I might listen to Tip, Ross, and a little Gucci/But these little newbies be making me feel a little woozy," he rapped.

Boat and Uzi have become easy targets for hip-hop purists recently for their lack of lyricism. Vic Mensa threw a jab at Yachty during a show earlier this month. Cameras captured the Roc Nation rapper spitting “Fuck is Lil Yachty?,” during a show.

The shot appeared to come out of nowhere, with Yachty seeming confused about the whole ordeal. “The situation that recently happened, I feel like people just try to throw a shot at me so I can try to respond,” Yachty said during a recent interview with Hot 97. “I’ve never even spoken to him. I just shook his hand. Niggas is weird.”

Last night's show also featured performances form Swizz Beatz, Eve, Cassidy, Drag-On and The Lox. Special guests included French Montana, Fat Joe and Remy Ma. But most people are talking about DMX, who had a hard time getting through his set.
