UPDATE:
Cardi B herself has now stepped forth to shoot down reports that she has ever been a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
Jumping onto Twitter, Cardi wrote in reply to another tweet, "You just said it yourself ...Brim not 9 Trey .I never been 9 trey or associated with them."

ORIGINAL STORY:
A rep from Cardi B's record label, Atlantic Records is denying 6ix9ine's purported claims about Bardi's gang allegiance.
According to a report Billboard published Thursday afternoon (Sept. 19), Cardi B was never a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, a New York City gang 6ix9ine belonged to before renouncing his membership last fall.
Earlier today, Page Six, reported that Tekashi, who is testifying against Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack in a racketeering trial, claimed that Cardi was a Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods member. She's said that she was a Blood in the past, but she's never claimed any connection to the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods specifically.
At a different point of his testimony today, 6ix9ine apparently said that he didn't pay attention to whatever Cardi B was doing to be successful. “I knew who she was," Tekashi purportedly said. "I didn’t pay attention.”
This latest bit of news surfaces shortly after Tekashi allegedly claimed that Jim Jones was a member of the Nine Trey gang. Apparently, he even said Jones is retired, even though the rapper has shown no signs of ending his career in hip-hop.
