Big Sean’s Debut Album to Drop in March
Big Sean is finally famous, and he’s gonna let his fans hear all about it.
The 2010 XXL Freshman will be releasing his debut album, Finally Famous: The Album, this March on G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam. The first single from the album, “My Last” featuring Chris Brown and produced by No I.D., dropped today (February 8). [Listen here]
“I remember in the eighth grade I told myself, man I’m going to be signed to Def Jam,” the Detroit native said. “I always put it out into the universe and I think it was written for me. I was meant to inspire people, I was meant to make music. There’s been so many nights where instead of going out I’ve had to work and was depressed so I feel like I deserve this. This is what I was meant to do.”
Sean’s most recent mixtape, Finally Famous Vol, 3: BIG, dropped on XXLMag.com back in August 2010.
As of now, there is no exact date for the release. —Adam Fleischer
