Amine's "Caroline" is blowing up right now. The single has peaked at No. 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 11 on the Hot Rap Songs. In light of the song's current success, Amine got invited the perform the track on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

The Portland MC appeared on The Tonight Show last night (Nov. 15) and took the opportunity to make a big statement. Amine added a new verse to the end of "Caroline" for the performance, which turned into a scathing indictment of president-elect Donald Trump and the current state of America.

"9/11, a day that we're never forgetting/11/9, a day that we're all regretting/If my president is Trump then it's relevant enough to talk about it on TV and not give a (gasp)/I'm black and I'm proud/My skin is brown and I'm loud/Everybody love it when a rapper tell some lies/That ain't me homie, I guess that a surprise/America wanna act all happy and holy/When deep down inside they like Brad and Jolie/Caroline divine, and I won't get specific/Club banana the illest and it's too terrific/You can never make America great again/All you ever did was make this country hate again," Amine rapped.

The bold move was all the more impressive since this was Amine's first time on national television. The Oregon native flawlessly spit this new verse on the biggest stage of his career. Amine should be applauded for using the platform to voice his concerns in front of millions of viewers.
