Alicia Keys is preparing to drop Here, her first album in four years, and delivers a new single today (Oct. 7) with "Blended Family (What You Do For Love)" featuring A$AP Rocky. The track is inspired by the modern family Keys and husband Swizz Beats have created, a dedication to the producer's children from a previous marriage with R&B singer Mashonda.

On her website, Keys wrote of the song, "It means so much to me and our whole family. The understanding, compassion and support we’ve found is a powerful testament to the healing that comes when we choose love. Especially for the kids… the most important part of our lives. Celebrating Mashonda for our commitment to each other with support and true growth."

On his shortened verse, Rocky raps about his own experience with a growing nuclear unit. "I remember having four stepmoms at nine/Love Christmastime and birthday was fly/Ate at my sisters just for dinner cause the cookin’ was bomb/Her mother's supper made me love her like she took me to prom/And shootout to my sisters on welfare/Flacko care if nobody else care/And shoutout to the step sisters and step brothers/And god-sisters who eventually slept with us," he raps.

Here is slated to drop Nov. 4, with a preorder available now via iTunes. Listen to "Blended Family (What You Do For Love)" courtesy of Spotify below
