adidas Unleashes “Iridescent” Pack

Inspired by animals of prey that hunt in the dead of night, adidas today unveiled the “Iridescent” pack, featuring blacked out editions of the D Rose 6 and D Lillard 1.

Designed with an all-black mesh upper composed of bottom gem materials, each model features a color-shifting finish when hit with a camera flash. With synthetic core black hues and XENO accents throughout, each shoe mimics the reflective and iridescent nature of a predator’s eyes in attack mode. The D Rose 6 features six reflective lines on the straps of the FITFRAME heel cage, a rainbow reflective D Rose logo and XENO accents throughout. Mirroring Derrick’s toughness and ability to take flight over defenders, the Nocturnal edition also features a falcon graphic in the sockliner.

The D Lillard 1 features a tinted grey outsole and responsive stripes at the base of the lace system and heel tab that contrast the myriad of colors revealed under light. Resembling the swift handles and explosive quickness of the two-time NBA All-Star in attack mode, the Nocturnal edition displays a cheetah graphic in the sockliner.

The D Rose 6 and D Lillard 1 ($105) drop at adidas.com, Foot Locker and Eastbay on Nov. 27.
