Adidas to Release Run Thru the Time Footwear Collection

Today, the adidas Consortium division presents a brand new footwear collection being dubbed as the “Run Thru Time” capsule. Inspired by classic performance silhouettes from the adidas archive, the brand new capsule is a contemporary running pack that will release in men and women sizes.

Both the UltraBOOST Mid and the Energy Boost utilize the latest footwear innovations to provide the wearer with stability, comfort and support. The uppers feature a prime knit material on the canvas, and the soles use adidas' signature Boost technology. While a cuffed ankle sock on the UltraBOOST Mid provides additional protection, it is the heel cage on the Energy Boost that offers better stability.

The colorways pay homage to the Boston Super and the Marathon TR, two road running classics originally constructed in pieces of individually-colored suede and nubuck. For the Run Thru Time pack the classic uppers were revolutionized using Primeknit fabric. Shapes, models and technologies may have changed but quality color combinations remain timeless. The addidas Run Thru the Time collection allows us to embrace the future while still celebrating adidas’ past. The footwear is complemented by two Climacool running caps, with a color palettes inspired by classic performance silhouettes from the adidas archive.

Set to release on Wed., July 19, at global adidas Consortium accounts, the Ultra BOOST Mid silhouette will retail for a suggested price of $210. The Energy Boost sneaker will retail for a suggested price of $160.
