Adidas Originals Teams Up With Wings+Horns for a Premium Fall/Winter 2016 Collection

Canadian brand WINGS+HORNS collaborates with adidas Originals for a premium FW16 collection that incorporates innovative manufacturing, iconic silhouettes and inspiration from Japanese shadow theory.

A synthesis of classic tailoring and modern sportswear, the latest collaboration from the two brands draws on traditional craftmanship and unparalleled attention to detail to produce a premium collection of tonal apparel, accessories and footwear. Subtle branding, including the execution of the three-stripes in low-key and luxurious embroidery and the handmade-look heel stitching that gives the collection WINGS+HORNS’ signature aesthetic.

As part of the premium FW16 collection, three of the contemporary silhouettes inspired by adidas Originals’ iconic design history, the bonded hoodie, crewneck and trackpant have been MADE IN CANADA. Alongside this MADE IN CANANDA artisanal capsule is an offering of slim-fit knit tees, an ombre tracktop and sherpa jackets for a variety of layered looks, whilst an insulated, quilted vest and bomber combo finish off a collection of versatile casualwear.

An updated iteration of the iconic Gazelle 85 footwear silhouette, in tonal off-white Primeknit and navy blue vintage suede make up half of a footwear offering that also includes the brand’s take on the ZX Flux ADV X model, both feature embossed branding on the heel and a premium aesthetic. A Helmet bag, finished in black cotton woven fabric and featuring utilitarian compartments, as well as a woven beanie available in black and dark grey make up this season’s accessories.

The inspiration drawn from Japanese dedication to craftmanship and attention-to-detail, alongside the best of both adidas Originals and WINGS+HORNS combine to create a mature, sophisticated and completely unique collection of modern sportswear.

The adidas Originals by WINGS + HORNS is available online and select retailers globally starting September 2016.
