Adidas Originals Unveils New ClimaCool Collection

Today, Adidas Originals presents two new exclusive takes of the ClimaCool 02/17 silhouette in two eye-catching colorways.

True to the aesthetic of the original silhouette, the ClimaCool 02/17 uses a ClimaCool mesh across the upper, with molded TPU supports on the heel and toe bumper and a perforated sock-fit liner for breathability. Sitting atop of a lightweight AdiPrene midsole, the addition of the sole reinforces the shoe’s early-2000s aesthetic. Both shoes are then finished with essential branding in the form of welded 3-stripes and original ClimaCool branding on the tongue. Releasing in a red night colorway and a core black colorway, the release highlights the new take on the shoe that pushes ClimaCool even further into the future than ever before.

Just last week, the Three Stripes presented a new set of original ClimaCool sneakers in brighter colorways, as the Three Stripes tries to capitalize off of the success of the popular shoes.

The adidas Originals ClimaCool 02/17 is scheduled to release globally on Sat., Aug. 10, at select adidas retailers and accounts. Look for the Three Stripes to announce the price point of the shoes within the days of the shoes release.
