Adidas Originals Celebrates Chicago Store Opening With Release of Limited EQT Support Sneakers

Adidas Originals is opening up its newest flagship store in the heart of Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. Set to open its doors in the coming days, the Windy City store opening will offer consumers a complete Three Stripe experience while also providing exclusive and rare items for a limited time only.

Inspired by the heartbeat of the Chicago, the store offers consumers the best of the adidas Originals brand while highlighting area creators and the impact they have on their surrounding communities. To commemorate the opening, adidas Originals has designed a limited-edition sneaker model—the EQT Support ADV Wicker Park. Launching on opening day, this very rare silhouette is offered in a limited run of only 350 pairs–300 of which will be made available for sale, while the remaining 50 will be gifted to friends and fans of adidas Originals and the EQT silhouette. The shoe is exclusive to the adidas Originals Chicago Flagship location where Chicago natives will have a chance to reserve one of the 300 pairs for purchase via the adidas Confirmed app, starting on September 29.

The EQT Support ADV Wicker Park includes a signature knit upper with welded premium, nubuck toe overlay. The quarter panel is made with real leather and suede, and finished with a debossed texture. The heel tab is supported with a strip of premium leather, and a sock-like construction with breathable mesh lining allow for maximum comfort.

Adidas' Chicago flagship store will open on Thurs., Oct. 5. Located at 1532 N. Milwaukee Ave, the limited EQT sneakers will be available for purchase for a suggested price of $150.
