One of the most anticipated releases of the end of the year will be adidas' collaboration with American artist Daniel Arsham. Channeling the New York-based artist’s aesthetic into a low top silhouette, the Three Stripes and Arsham create a clean and appealing triple black silhouette.

Inspired by Arsham’s passion for the concept of archeology and 20th-century cultural artifacts, the collaborative shoe re-imagines adidas’ archive running silhouette in a smooth canvas constructed with frayed edges and rendered in a completely tonal black colorway. The sneaker's design strips the New York silhouette to its rawest form. Concealed elements take cues from Arsham’s ethos of discovery and hidden meaning. Featuring dual-branding on each shoe’s tongue, the sneakers are countered with screen printed ‘Daniel Arsham’ and ‘Past’ written on the tongue of the shoe’s mesh material.

Releasing on Sat., Dec. 9, in limited quantities, the adidas Originals x Daniel Arsham sneaker will retail for a suggested price of $180. The collaborative shoe will be sold at select adidas Originals boutiques and online at adidas.com.
