Adidas Introduces Crazy BYW Sneakers

This month, adidas will relaunch their signature Crazy basketball silhouette with a whole new update to the shoes' canvas. Reimagined for the next generation, the Crazy BYW adds a new component to BOOST technology, featuring a 3-part podular midsole for the first time.

The Crazy BYW is constructed of a blend of soft breathable knit materials, coupled with hints of leather and embroidered details to keep this modern take premium yet functional. Preserving the shoe’s distinctive lacing system, the shoe maintains a connection with its 1990s roots, while other subtle nods in the upper design look to transition past and present to create a new chapter within the Crazy collection. Incorporating Boost technology with the new podular construction, the latest basketball shoe from the Three Stripes bends with natural movement on the consumer’s foot. Each pod is completely separate, enhancing movement to bring a new level of and comfort to basketball lifestyle.

The adidas Crazy BYW will retail for a suggested price of $170 and will be available in limited quantities on Jan. 27 at adidas.com and at select adidas boutiques in the United States. A global launch will follow on Feb. 15.
