21 Savage invites J. Cole to a classy family gathering in the official video for "A Lot."

Today (Feb. 1), 21 kicks off Black History Month with a very personal visual for his intro to I Am > I Was. In the video, directed by Aisultan Seitov, the Atlanta native hosts a black-tie formal event with his family at a huge mansion. Dressed in all black, 21 celebrates with his family and toasts to their success while simultaneously giving glimpses of all the problems and issues they've experienced in life.

J. Cole shows up after the family photo while rocking a black suit and tie to bring his verse to life while seated next to 21. The video for their collaboration comes weeks after fans realized that J. Cole's verse wasn't included on the CD version of 21's album. Back in December, a fan started a Reddit thread sharing the new revelation.

"There’s no j Cole feature instead 21 has a third verse so I thought to share it god damn," the user noted.

Although 21 nor Cole have addressed the matter, it seems like the song was left off after a misunderstanding on 21's end. One of 21 Savage’s managers, Kei Henderson, confirmed on Twitter that the feature may have been replaced with a bonus Savage verse instead.

"Lmao forgot we turned in a different version for physicals," Henderson tweeted earlier this month.
