This week marks one year since the release of Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative album, Watch the Throne. Before the actual release—digitally on August 8, 2011, and with physical copies on August 12, 2011—there was plenty of hype surrounding the project. And rightfully so. Once the album hit, few came away disappointed. Now, a year later, XXL takes a look back at some of the project's impact, By The Numbers. —XXL Staff (@XXL)
