Wale Is Hosting a ‘Seinfeld’ Remix Show on TBS Next Week

Wale loves Seinfeld like Wiz Khalifa loves weed. Now Mr. Folarin is taking his deep appreciation for the show to the TV screen as he will be hosting the "Seinfeld Remix" show on TBS next week. The MMG rapper will appear on a special edition clip show which will have him thinking back on his favorite episodes. If you are at all a fan of Wale's music you know he has plenty of moments to choose from. The "Seinfeld Remix" will air June 15 at 6pm EST and will continue through the summer months.

Wale is clearly rap's biggest Seinfeld fan as he has been paying homage to the much-beloved sitcom since the beginning of his career with the 2008 mixtape, The Mixtape About Nothing and later 2010's More About Nothing. Wale's mixtapes frequently sample scenes and catch phrases from the show to which Ralph claims to have seen every single episode. He even worked closely with Jerry Seinfeld on his most recent output, The Album About Nothing and hosted the album listening at Tom’s Restaurant in Harlem, the infamous spot on the corner of 112th street that served as the facade to Monk’s Coffeeshop from Seinfeld throughout the years.

Wale's TAAN debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it was released back in April moving 100,000 copies. It marked Wale’s second straight No. 1 project, following 2013′s The Gifted. The DC MC will be executive producing Maybach Music Group's upcoming compilation album, Self Made 4. The project is set to drop some time this year.
