Meek Mill is celebrating the release of his Wins & Losses album, but he seems to have ruffled a few feathers in the process of his recent press run. After Trick Daddy came at the Philadelphia rapper for his comments in a recent Hot 97 interview, Uncle Luke is coming to the defense of Miami hip-hop as well, giving Meek a history lesson.

The Florida veteran addresses the "Whatever You Need" MC directly in a new social media video, telling Meek that he needs a history lesson after implying that he influenced Miami artists in the interview.

"Meek, look up 'It's Your Birthday.' Do a little history before you make these idiotic statements," Luke explains. "Okay, let me give you Meek Mill's history lesson. First one to have jet skis in the video. Check the 'It's Your Birthday' video. First one to have cars in the video. Check 'Move Somethin'' video. BMW."

Luke goes on to talk about some of the influence he's had over the years, before adding that he's a fan of some of Meek's stuff.

"If you want a history lesson just call me up, Meek," he continued. "I like your music, but don't say stupid shit. Get people all wrapped up."

This isn't the first time that Uncle Luke has called out a hip-hop star in defense of Miami, as he threw shots at DJ Khaled back in May, claiming he doesn't run anything in the city.
