The Thrift Shop Where Macklemore Shot His Video Is Closing

The Seattle thrift shop where the video for Macklemore's song of the same title was shot is closing after the Halloween weekend. According to The Seattle Times and the Capitol Hills Seattle blog, the Value Village store is closing down after Nov. 7. A spokesperson from the store told spoke to Capitol Hills Seattle about the closure saying, "Though unfortunate, certain business conditions have made it necessary to close our Value Villge thrift store in the Capitol Hill neighborhood after a number of years of leasing the space on a month-to-month basis."
