The Game is the latest artist to have to cancel a planned tour in Australia after being denied a visa by the country's government.

The Compton rapper had a four-date jaunt set to pop off tomorrow (Feb. 22), but the shows were canceled at the last minute due to the rapper failing to get his visa paperwork finalized in the proper time period.

According to TMZ, Game was already in the country when he was notified about the mishap. According to the report, the rapper arrived in the country on Friday (Feb. 19) but was not allowed to leave the airport after his visa issues were discovered.

Metropolis Touring, the company handling the event, recently put out a statement about the cancellation that reads: “Unfortunately the tour by The Game is now canceled. All ticket holders will be entitled to a refund from point of purchase. Please allow a few days for us to liaise with the ticketing companies but we will work as quickly as possible to organize this and keep everyone updated. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.”

Game isn't the first artist to be denied the opportunity to turn up for a check in Australia. Last year, Chris Brown had a tour planned in the land down under but was forced to cancel after he was denied a visa because of his 2009 assault charge. Breezy pleaded with the Aussie government and even appealed but was eventually turned down.
